Why aren't the buttons in the accessWidget interface working?

  • Updated

If accessWidget’s interface is displayed on your site but the buttons aren't clickable, or nothing happens when you click them, there may be a script conflict on your site. This is usually easy to fix.

To check for a script conflict

  1. Open your site in Google Chrome.
  2. Press the F12 key to open the Developer Tools panel. Don't worry if it seems intimidating, we'll guide you every step of the way.
  3. Select the Console tab.
  4. Refresh the page.
  5. Once the page has refreshed, look in the Console tab for the word accessiBe underlined in red.
If you see this, it indicates a script conflict. Contact our support team through our website chat or at support@accessibe.com and we'll help you fix it quickly.
